Secrets Resorts & Spas Brand Redesign
Secrets Resorts offer romantic adults only getaways across the Mediterranean and Caribbean. I am currently the lead UI designer for this brand’s website redesign, enhancing brand identity to meet WCAG compliance and define the brand’s digital design system
I am working directly with our development team, a team of brand coordinators and one other designer to complete this redesign and re-platform. I started by creating a UI Kit, followed by wireframes, high fidelity mockups and am now in the final stages of building out on our new CMS platform.
Typography
Choosing a serif font for the headline introduces a touch of sophistication and timeless elegance. The serifs add a sense of authority and readability to the main title, creating a lasting first impression.
Complementing this with a sans-serif font for the body copy ensures a clean and modern aesthetic, optimizing legibility and maintaining a balanced visual hierarchy throughout the website.
Colors
The previous color palette for the Secrets brand presented a dated and overly dark appearance. The primary gold color lacked compliance when contrasted with a white background. To address this, I undertook a comprehensive color palette refresh, aiming to give the brand a more refined and romantic aesthetic.
