AMR™ Collection Brand Redesign

Each brand in the AMR™ Collection has its own unique personality while offering a luxurious experience. I was the lead UI designer for this brand’s website redesign, enhancing brand identity to meet WCAG compliance and define the brand’s digital design system.

The previous state of the AMResorts website was characterized by navigational challenges, limited mobile functionality, and a complex layout. Recognizing the need for improvement, I was able to enhance the site during this redesign, creating a more user-friendly experience that effectively communicates the company's identity and diverse offerings across brands. The process involved the development of a comprehensive UI Kit, followed by wireframes, and collaborative efforts with our development team to bring the redesigned site to fruition.

Typography

Ivy Journal
Ivy Journal is used for all the headlines across the site. Ivy Presto was the font used to make up the new AMR Collection logo so I chose a similar font from the same font foundry to keep a consistent look and feel for the brand.

Bicyclette
Bicyclette is a simple san serif font used for all the body copy across the site.

Colors

During the redesign, the outdated color palette underwent a refreshing transformation to achieve a modern, clean look and feel. The updated colors align with contemporary design trends, presenting a visual identity that is both fresh and relevant.

On this new site we were able to incorporate all of our destination pages the team had worked to develop a couple years ago. Previously, they didn’t have anywhere to live since the old AMResorts website was not consumer facing. We had these awesome pages full of useful content for our users but no real way to access them easily without sending the user to a page externally from the site they were on.
